I have one last question, sorry, When I had Windows 8/8.1 I bought the media center pack, I know media center is gone now in Windows 10 but I read that there will be a dvd player being released soon, do you know how I'll be able to get it, would I need to use my serial here? The language packs will be there available however you cannot access them. Yes, that is the issue, its not yet available for the UK region. Ok, i'm guessing any further features will be rolled out in the coming weeks? Yes, however you cannot use all the features for Cortana if you change the language to US. No idea PsYcHoKiLLa, however you will notified early when the Cortana will be available for your region. I presume if I changed all my language options to be US then it would let me use it but probably wouldn't work great then? Is there any ETA on when it will be available? No, i was using it in the UK during the insider preview builds I am afraid to tell you this PsYcHoKiLLa, that Cortana is only available in the US region.

I have English UK language installed but the speech language pack didn't install for some reasonįor some reason it's installed the US speech pack but the UK language pack, not sure whyĪnd the language packs that were in the temp folder are gone now I have another problem too with Cortana I think PsYcHoKiLLa, Can you that the Windows is Activated? Here's some of our chat (I've changed my name in it ). He told me something weird though, I'm in the UK but the speech pack was showing US so Cortana wasn't working (I've since added the UK English speech packs and will restart to see if it fixes it), he said that was by design and that the UK isn't supported for Cortana yet, I told him I'd been using it all through insider builds but he was insistant.weird.

Microsoft will continue to push updates over the course of the next two weeks in the lead up to the launch on July 29th.Well I'm activated now thanks to the "Contact Support" app, online chat with a nice chap called "Girish S - Microsoft Answer Tech", got me to install the Microsoft Support app which let him take over (I work in IT support so it was weird to be on the other side), for some reason there were a few services which weren't running as they should be, so he fixed those, ran a command in the command window (Can't remember exactly what is was but it was netsh something restart), he rebooted the PC after it confirmed I would allow him, the contact app came straight back up after restart, he reconnected quickly and Windows was activated. If you're already a Windows 10 tester then you can simply check Windows Update to receive the latest bits, and you'll notice that the desktop watermark has now been removed.

The software maker will not make ISOs available until July 29th as the company wants all testers to upgrade through its Windows Update mechanism to make final tweaks and changes to the way Windows 10 will be distributed to existing PCs later this month. Microsoft is testing its update mechanism today, and only existing Windows 10 testers will be able to access build 10240. Updates will include extension support for the Microsoft Edge browser and a bigger update later this fall. While it's the final version, Microsoft is already building many updates ready for July 29th and the built-in apps will change rapidly over the coming months. It's the final copy of Windows 10 that the software company is planning to sign off on, and it should represent how the operating will look and feel on July 29th. Microsoft has started rolling out Windows 10 build 10240 to testers.
